	He does not like jumping and prefers to sit down. He works well for treats but knows that he is supposed to get treats when he does stuff. He understands a lot but likes to test his owners. They claim he is probably the smartest dog they have ever had.

	Duke is in tune with the habits and daily routine of the Wheelers. They take him on walks and he has learned not to pull on the leash.

	He attended puppy kindergarten in August 2006. The Wheelers found that Duke likes people and animals of all kinds. He loves to have company over.

	Duke has made friends with several dogs. He likes Henry the Beagle that lives behind the Wheelers. He also likes Luc the Lab and the family cats. However, the cats only tolerate Duke.

	Duke chirps when he is taken home before he is ready to leave somewhere. He enjoys the snow but gets upset because the tree branches are hanging too low.

	We visited with the Wheelers in October 2006, just after Duke was neutered. It was a great visit and we really enjoyed their hospitality. Duke is lucky to have owners like them.

We are in regular contact with Phil and Eleanor Wheeler, Duke's owners, so the information here should be relatively up to date.
2/14/08	- Revised Duke's web page. Added more photos and made it look like the rest of the web site.
11/1/07	- Received photos of Duke and his friend Lucy playing in a pumpkin patch after it had been sold out.
10/29/06	- Visited Duke, Phil and Eleanor at their home on Bainbridge Island. Aurora was shy at first but quickly got used to Duke again. We all had a great time.
9/8/06	- Duke now weighs in at 37 lbs. He doesn't like to jump so probably will never do Agility but loves to sit.
7/17/06	- Duke attends Puppy Kindergarten and really enjoys it. He is very vocal and is certain to tell Phil and Eleanor when he is unhappy.
6/25/06	- Draco went to his new home with Phil and Eleanor Wheeler of Bainbridge Island. They have renamed him Duke.
