Zeke went home to a nice couple in Poulsbo Washington. As with all our puppies, we are sad to see him go but are sure he has found a nice new home.
He has been renamed Zach.

Lassie went to her new home today. She now lives with another Rainybank Collie, Lad. They have a wonderful family and we were glad to see them get another of our Collies.

Murphy went to his new home today. He has a wonderful new home and a new buddy named Bosco. We wish him well and know he will be very happy.

The puppies took part in an unofficial "Photo Shoot". We set up a background and made them sit or stand on a table while we took photos. They turned out really cute.

It's been a while since I've updated this site. I have added new photos and information.
In the mean time, the puppies have been getting really active. They have moved to solid food and have just received their first shots.

Alix just spent two weeks at the Evergreen State Fair with her 4-H club. This was her first year in 4-H.
She aced the Agility and took many other ribbons. See the 4-H page for more info.

Aurora had her puppies! There were six in all. Three tri-color, Three sable (two sable-merle). All appear to be healthy.

We just got the results back from the Veterinarian and Aurora is definitely pregnant. Puppies are due September 1, 2008.

Once again we attended the Highland Games in Enumclaw. We participated in many events including a parade of dogs, Celtic Kennel grand review, Mock dog show and Agility demonstration
Michael even wore a kilt for the very first time.

July 5 + 6, 2008
Holly and Michael attended an Agility Trial in Monroe, Washington. Aurora did not attend because of the possibility she was pregnant.
Holly took first place in Jumpers on Sunday but did not qualify in any other run.

Michael and Alix took Aruroa to Southern California. She was bred to Brian of McMaur Collies.
Brian's registered name is McMaur's The Intimidator.

Michael and Holly attended an Agility show in Monroe. Aurora did not attend because she was "in season" and inelligible.
Holly took first place in Excellent Jumpers on Sunday but did not qualify in any other event.

We all attended an Agility Trial at Argus Ranch in Auburn, Washington
This was Aurora's first Agility Trial. She did very well considering her lack of experience with crowds. She did not qualify on either of her runs but she made it through both Jumpers and Standard.

Michael and Holly attended an Agility Trial at the Greys Harbor County Fairgrounds outside of Elma, Washington. This was their first time in the Excellent Standard class. They also ran Open Jumpers with Weaves. In neither category did they qualify but Holly managed to get her weaves exactly right in the Open Jumpers and that is a great accomplishment!

Our old girl Paisley passed away peacefully on Sunday, February 10th, 2008 at 9:30pm while on the way to the Veterinary Hospital in Snohomish, Washington. We will miss her sorely.
You can read a story about her here. Michael wrote this story after her passing. Be careful, you just might cry.

January 12 and 13, 2008
Holly and Michael attended an Agility trial at the Puyallup, Washington fairgrounds.
They ran Open Jumpers and Open Standard both days. They qualified twice on Saturday and once on Sunday taking first place all three times. This earns Holly and Michael their Open Standard title and moves them finally into Excellent!

August 26, 2007 - Winnie (formerly Skyler) and Ribbie, from Germany, have had their puppies. There are 4 blue merle and 3 tri-color pups. Go Winnie!

January 3, 2007 - Received a letter of recognition from the Collie Club of America for Charlotte's Novice agility title
November 5, 2006 - Attended an Agility show at Argus Ranch in Auburn. Holly Qualified and got her Novice Jumpers title!
September 30, 2006 - Attended the Hurricane Ridge Kennel Club show in Olympia. Holly Qualified and received second place in Novice Standard. This gives her the novice title! Go Holly!
September 27, 2006 - Did a massive update of the website. Added pages, links and information. Corrected some mistakes and clarified some things. Hope you like it!
September 24, 2006 - Holly was entered for the first time in Novice Standard Agility. She has only done Jumpers with Weaves up to this point. On both days, Holly Qualified, took first place and scored 100 with very low times in Standard. Also, on both days, she knocked down the second jump bar in Jumpers. - Go Holly!
September 20, 2006 - Dawn, the last puppy, went to her new home. She now lives in Salmon Arm, British Columbia, Canada. Her new owners are very happy with her and have changed her name to 'Sasha'
September 17, 2006 - Holly completed her final six miles for her Backpacking Dog (BPD) title. We just have to complete the paperwork.
September 16, 2006 - Charlotte has been spayed. She had her one and only litter of puppies. She was an OK mother but could have been better. We do not plan to show her in conformation because of her ears. They still won't tip over. We are having better luck with Aurora.
September 3, 2006 - Both Holly and Charlotte earned four more miles towards their novice packing titles. We hiked the Lake Dorothy trail near the Money Creek campground in the Mt. Baker/Snoqualmie National Forest.
September 2, 2006 - Skyler finally went to his home in Germany. On our end everything appeared to go well but there were some paperwork problems we only found out about after his arrival in Germany. But he is safe and sound in his new home.
August 28, 2006 - Cheryl and Missy have moved from Sultan to Port Orchard, Washington. This is not really a brag, but this is as close as we have to a news page. They were only temporary residents at our house but we had fun while they were here. They will be missed.
August 9, 2006 - Haily has been sold. She has gone to her new home in Snoqualmie, WA.
August 4, 2006 - Kierra has been sold. She has gone to her new home in Woodinville, WA.
July 23, 2006 - Skyler has been sold. He will need to stay with us until September then he will go to his new home, also in Germany.
July 10, 2006 - Holly was in her fifth Agility show. She ran in Novice Jumpers both Saturday and Sunday. On Saturday, she Qualified and took first place. On Sunday, she refused to do the weave poles but otherwise had a clean run. One more 'Q' and she will have her novice title.
July 2, 2006 - Aeryn and Chrichton went to their new homes. They will be living in Germany. Soon we will put info about their new homes on our site.

June 25, 2006 - The first of the puppies has gone home with his new owners! We are very sad to see him go. His new owners have changed his name from Draco to Duke.
June 24, 2006 - Holly was in her fourth Agility show. She did a great job but did not qualify. She knocked down one bar. Charlotte was not entered in the show but she came to watch. This was her first outing since the puppies.
June 19, 2006 - All the puppies have been seen by Dr. Terri L McCalla and certified CEA free.
June 17, 2006 - Holly was in her third Agility show. She qualified and took third place. She was 3 seconds over time which gave her some time faults. But she didn't knock over any jumps and she did the course just fine except for the weave poles. She got confused and had to try them several times before she did it.
June 11, 2006 - Wow are they active! They love chewing on feet and shoes. We are trying to get them slightly house trained.
June 10, 2006 - Holly was in her second Agility show. She missed her 'Q' by one jump bar. She did the rest of the course excellently
June 5, 2006 - We have added the pedigree for the puppies so you can view it.
June 2, 2006 - They are starting to play more. We have been letting them outside to play more often. They are eating well and starting to get out of their pen on their own.
May 28, 2006 - The puppies are starting to show their personalities. They are beginning to play more and have fun with people. The Superdog Stimulation Training seems to have done wonders. These are very calm puppies. We can even pick them up and lay them on their backs without complaint.
May 20, 2006 - We let the puppies out in the yard to play for the first time. They really enjoyed it and romped all over the place. I got some good up close photos.
May 15, 2006 - Holly earned her Canine Good Citizen Title
May 7, 2006 - The puppies are starting to move around a bit more. You can just see some of their ears opening.
April 24, 2006 - Charlotte gave birth to 9 puppies
January 15, 2006 - Charlotte received her Novice Jumpers Preferred title
January 15, 2006 - Charlotte qualified and earned Second Place, Novice Jumpers Preferred at Puyallup Fairgrounds
