Our requirements are simple and common sense.

• All dogs shall be microchipped by their new owners. This is a cheap method of making sure the dog can always be identified even if found roaming without ID tags.
• Any yard or field the dog is allowed to "free roam" in shall be fenced unless the dog is adequately boundary trained
• No tie-outs or tethers shall be used to restrain the dogs in lieu of a yard. A tether can be used for short periods when on trips.
• Dogs shall be kept in good health
• Dogs will not be mistreated. Abused dogs lead terrible lives. Would you abuse your child?
• Any dogs that cannot be kept by their new owners will be returned to Rainybank Collies or to an alternate home approved by Rainybank Collies.
• Collies that will be shown in Conformation will be kept intact as required by the AKC and many other Kennel Clubs
• Pet Collies shall be altered by a licensed Veterinarian
• All Collies will receive the same care and attention you would want if you were in their place
